How to use your Binocular

IDP Adjustment

• Set the interpapillary distance by grasping the body and bending it until you can see one circle of view. The setting for your eyes will be indicated on the IPD scale.

Focusing

• Close your right eye and sight an object with your left eye. Focus the binoculars by rotating the center focus.
• Open your right eye and close your left eye. Rotate the right eyepiece until the object sighted is sharp and clear.
• Both sides(eye) are now in focus and you will need to focus only on the center focus wheel to focus on the other objects.

How to Care for tour Binocular

• Keep the lens covers(that come with your binoculars, except compact type)on the lenses when binoculars is not in use.

• To remove any remaining dirt or smudges, add one or two drops of isopropyl alcohol to the cloth.

The Orion Observer 70 EQ Refractor Telescope features a multi-coated, achromatic glass objective lens that's 70mm in diameter, with a focal length of 700mm (f/10). This glass lens takes in 36% more light than a 60mm lens for brighter, clearer views. Bottom line: you'll see more than you would through telescope with a smaller aperture.

The refractor telescope optical tube is crafted from black-enameled aluminum and outfitted with a smooth-action, 1.25" rack-and-pinion focuser on one end and a dew cap/glare shield on the other.
